Gill Matthews Education Consultancy, Back From the Future and Ellipsis Publishing and go liveGill Matthews is one of our longest-standing customers: her education consultancy website was one of the first we designed. It's just had a facelift and now has a fresh, clean and modern feel – take a look at www.gillmatthews.co.uk.
As well as Gill's revamped website, we have also just launched two other websites for her. Back From the Future is Gill's latest publication, an exciting and interactive educational resource for primary school children. The website, www.backfromthefuture.co.uk, reflects the futuristic look of the resource itself, which comprises a DVD and Manual. The other website is www.ellipsispublishing.co.uk, Gill's publishing company. The website has a fun, vibrant feel and promotes all Gill's publications, including S.P.O.O.C.S, which has its own website (designed by us, of course!) at www.spoocs.co.uk.
Coln Lettings new website goes liveColn Residential Lettings and Management is a specialist residential rental agent and property management company based near Cirencester in the Cotswolds. The company needed a high quality website that reflected its friendly, professional service. The site features an easy-to-use database so the Coln Lettings team can update the list of available properties whenever they need to. To take a closer look at the site, visit www.colnlettings.co.uk.
Saxon Motorsport was one of our first customers. The company has recently undergone a transformation – it still has a karting team and supplies karting equipment, but it now has a Formula Ford team and a rolling road for hire. A new look business needed a new look website and we were happy to oblige. The new website gives equal prominence to all three areas of the business and has a fresh new look too. What's more, because of our pricing structure, creating Saxon Motorsport'snew look was all included in its monthly fee. To see Saxon's new look, visit www.saxon-motorsport.co.uk.
Conygree Farm's new website goes onlineConygree Farm is a traditional mixed farm in the Cotswolds. It sells traditionally reared rare breed lamb and pork by mail order. The farm already had a website, but it didn't match the image they now wanted to project. The farmer is a consultant with another one of our clients, Cumulus Consultants, and he approached us to create a new website for his farm. We worked with him to develop a design that projected a high quality, environmentally responsible and ethical image. See if you think we've achieved our aims at www.conygreefarm.co.uk.
Accident Advisory Centre's website goes liveAccident Advisory Centre approached us to develop a website for their accident management company. Taking their existing literature as a starting point, we designed a website that reflected their image and gave them a professional online presence. The website was interesting for us to work on because, as a business regulated by the Ministry of Justice in respect of regulated claims management activities, it needed to be approved by the Ministry of Justice before it could go live.
X-window's website gets a new lookX-window, an XML broker, has been one of our customers for a number of years. They wanted to revamp their website to reflect their business's new focus. We worked with them to understand what their website needed to achieve before coming up with a new design and site structure that would meet their needs.
CNC International's website is launchedWe have just launched CNC International's website. CNC had a website but it was becoming outdated. The new look website we have created showcases all of CNC's capabilities: from new and used EDM machine sales to EDM service and maintenance. The site's fast-moving used machine section is kept up-to-date by CNC's team using an easy to use database-driven admin section which we built for the purpose.
Peco Europe's website is launchedWe have just launched a new website for Peco Europe, a specialist provider of vacuum insulated cryogenic handling solutions and ancillary equipment to the food and beverage industry. The company had a website which featured plenty of information. Unfortunately, the site was hard to navigate, which made accessing the information difficult. Our brief was to create a coherent web design that worked for both the company's divisions and made information much easier to access. You can explore the website at www.peco-europe.com.
Central Vacuum Solutions website goes liveWe have just released a website for a central vacuum supplier, Central Vacuum Solutions. A central vacuum is a whole house cleaning system that can be installed into most properties. The site consists of information on the Variovac system that Central Vacuum Solutions distributes and an online shop that sells the Variovac system and all the component parts.
Recruitment website goes liveWe have just completed a database-driven recruitment website. letsrecruit specialises in recruitment in the waste, recycling and environmental sectors.
The site allows candidates to search for roles by location, salary and role. When they find a position they’re interested in, they can express their interest by entering their contact details and uploading a CV. At the same time, they can also ask to be notified if similar jobs come up in future. Alternatively, candidates can simply upload their CV for letsrecruit to hold on file for when suitable roles come up.
The site has a fresh, clean, modern feel. Coupled with the sophisticated database technology behind it, it’s a site we’re very pleased with.
Contract carpet supplier’s website goes liveMarlings Ltd is a leading contract carpets supplier based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. Their old website was out-of-date both in terms of its design and the information it contained – in short, it didn’t reflect the company’s excellent reputation.
When they approached us, Marlings already knew what we could do, because we designed and now manage their sister company’s website at www.treadsnosings.co.uk. Marlings wanted a website that complemented Treads Stair Nosings’ and also featured a similar online catalogue.
Undoubtedly the biggest part of this site’s development was the photography of all the carpets. We photographed over 300 carpets at three different distances so that visitors to the site can get a clear idea of what every carpet looks like. Aside from being able to view all the carpets in detail, visitors can also request carpet range information and carpet samples.
The site’s creation was undoubtedly time-consuming, but we are delighted with the results. The website is an impressive one that features wealth of information and functionality.
Deep draw pressing company’s website goes liveDo you know what deep draw pressing is? Neither did we until we started work on this site!
Stroud Metal Company specialises in deep draw pressing and has done since the late nineteenth century. The company’s website needed updating to reflect its standing in the industry. As part of the revamp, we needed to help visitors understand what deep draw pressing is as Stroud Metal find that lack of knowledge can be a barrier to a sale. We did this in two ways. Firstly in the design, which reflects the uses of the process. We also provided an easy-to-understand explanation of deep draw pressing and the benefits it offers. So if you’d like to know what it is, visit About Deep Draw Pressing on the Stroud Metal site!
A website for a consultant and training providerB2B is a Gloucestershire-based company that provides consultancy, NVQs, VRQs and other work-related training to businesses in the UK, Europe and beyond. The company had a website but it was outdated both in terms of design and content. A new website was therefore needed to better reflect the company's excellent reputation and capabilities.
Derek Allford, one of B2B's two directors, had seen the website we'd developed for another training company with whom he worked, Riverside Training. Impressed by what he saw, he approached us to design a new website that would be easy to navigate and provide a wealth of information for clients and potential clients. They would also need us to develop a password-protected area in which trainers, administrators and students could access information for their courses.
Working with B2B, we created a bright and fresh website design that contains a great deal of information on the company's expertise and the courses it offers. We are in the process of developing the password-protected area, which will feature different levels of access for different users.
You can browse the end results at www.b2b.org.uk.
